Safety protocols that preventing and guide us during emergencies require schools to know exactly who is on campus at all times.
All visitors to the school campus, MUST first stop in the main office to sign the visitor log and receive a badge.
Because student safety and the ability to control access to children while on school grounds is a top priority for us, we follow district protocol about allowing visitors on campus. Visitors on campus are almost always accompanied by a district staff member during the duration of the visit.
Visitors and volunteers are covered under different policies. In general the need for a one time visit or observation requires administrative escort.
Volunteers (for classroom help, field trips) are screened using our volunteer packet which is sent home to all parents the first week of school and can be picked up in the office at any time.
At the end of visit, you must also sign out through the front office.
Certain events like Family Friday or Running Club in the morning do NOT fall under our visitor or volunteer policy, which requires school staff to take special accounting for student safety during these events. Please make sure to follow the instructions of any staff member during these events.
